Elizabeth Fraser

Elizabeth is a printmaker with a love of language, text and pattern.  She makes prints by hand. EFraserIt’s a slow process involving lots of thinking, proofing and refining. She currently works mainly with handset metal type and lino to make prints and cards.  She is interested in the ephemera of life that anchors us to a time and a place, celebrating and playing with seemingly insignificant cultural fragments. Other works reflect her fascination with pattern and in particular those derived from printers ornaments and letterforms themselves. She works from her garden studio and occasionally accepts commissions.
