After completing the MA in Children’s book illustration, Jo decided to design a range of greetings cards. After their success at a few local shops, Jo launched her greetings cards and gift business, ‘Jo Clark Design’. That was over seven years ago, and with experience in retail, illustration, and many market stalls and trade shows later, her greetings card business has blossomed. Proudly supplying gift shops galleries and high end departments stores across the globe, and several popular online market places.
Jo self published ‘Hehehe Hyena’ her first children’s picture book in 2015 and launched it along with a solo exhibition of art work, in her own ‘Pop Up Shop’ on Norfolk street Cambridge. Jo is looking forward to writing and publishing more stories in the future.
Clearly Jo’s work is strongly themed around nature, animals and humour with a clear sense of fun. All of Jo’s products are designed and made in the UK using sustainable, eco friendly and cruelty free methods throughout.
Jo also designs logo’s, takes on private and commercial commissions, has designed a fabric collection for New York based company Cloud9 fabrics. This range has recently been used in a collaboration with pet accessories designer, ‘Buster & Lou’ for a unique and gift product for you and your pet.
