I am a small batch potter based in Great Shelford, working from my garden studio. All my work is hand thrown in stoneware on my potter’s wheel. I take inspiration from vintage French pottery and fabrics, an understated classic style which fits well in traditional and contemporary settings. My work is decorated in muted tones and colours in glazes I mix and prepare myself.
The Welsh word ‘Cleiog’ literally translates to ‘an abundance of clay’, which seems fitting and connects to my Welsh heritage.
My range is expanding all the time as I experiment with different clay, glazes, shapes and styles.
My ceramics are made to be enjoyed, used regularly and be a part of everyday living.
